We are different in that we provide you with unbiased tools, advice and support to help you take your new career search to the next level.  Whether you take a position we post, or find one through other means, we hope that we were able to help you in some small way to land that new role!

 

CAN YOU HELP ME FIND A JOB?

Looking for a new career is vastly different than even 5 years ago.  It often takes more than flooding a job board with your resume to get noticed.  While we are actively engaging with potential employers and creating awareness of the transferable skills travel industry professionals have, we can’t guarantee you will find a job, but, we can tool you with information and resources to help you get noticed and help you network with your industry peers.

 

DO I HAVE TO PAY TO USE YOUR SERVICE?

There may be a fee for select services.  Any fees are listed on our service page.

But we know money is tight!  So, we spend countless hours sourcing information, links and resources to help you create, update and optimize your resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile and more. 

 

I’VE BEEN SENT A SKILLS ASSESSMENT.  DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE IT?

Skills assessments are very common in the hiring process today.  They help recruiters and hiring managers identify candidates who are most qualified for a certain role and who will be a good fit for the company.  You will even find various skills assessments on job boards such as Indeed.  If you have received a skills assessment, don’t worry! If you are applying for a job you are qualified for, you will find the test easy to complete.

 

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES TTN ACCEPT?

TTN only accepts e-transfer payments currently.  E-transfers are instant and secure and allow all of us to avoid the credit card merchant fees of 3% - 5%.

 

WHAT ARE THE APPLICANT SCREENING PRACTICES THAT TTN EMPLOYS?

Every candidate is vetted through conventional methods such as text, verbal/video screening, and/or customized assessments in line with a prospective employer’s needs.  TTN also applies advanced testing and assessment software with over 100 pre-programmed, scientifically validated assessments.  These evaluations provide insight into general and job specific skills, to critical thinking and behavioural evaluations.  These unique personality and values based tests allow prospective employers to get to know candidates well beyond the resume.

 

HOW DO YOU PROTECT MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Aside from your name and phone or email address, we don’t collect any personal information.

Prospective employers only see your personal details once they’ve decided to extend an interview.

WHO CAN SEE MY RESUME ONCE I UPLOAD IT? 

Your resume is only visible to the team at TTN.  When we are ready to share it with a prospective employer, we will let you know.  If you prefer that we don’t share your resume with a particular employer, we won’t.  You have control.

 

WHAT IF I NEED TO MAKE A CHANGE TO MY RESUME?

Change is good!  Just resubmit your updated resume via the resume upload page and we’ll remove the old one.

 

I’VE FOUND THE CAREER OF MY DREAMS!  HOW DO I REMOVE MY RESUME FROM TTN’S SITE?

That’s great news!!  You can contact us at info@traveltalentnetwork.com and simply give us your name and phone or email address that is listed on your resume and we will remove your resume from our database.  But feel free to check our pages often for on-going career advice and resources!
